Jaipur : It has been claimed in the new MSME (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) and Export Promotion Policy that this will open the way for employment for one lakh people. Also, exports worth Rs 83704 crore can be increased to Rs 1.5 lakh crore. This will not only provide a big business platform to the entrepreneurs of the state, but will also make it easier to brand and market the products at the national and international level. However, experts believe that to achieve this goal the policy will have to be implemented effectively. Focus will also have to be on the handicraftsmen, artisans and weavers involved in MSME units, because they have a major share in the business. Besides, monitoring of these provisions will also have to be ensured. To make entrepreneurs exporters, the export process will have to be simplified. The provisions of the new policy approved in the Cabinet have brought big opportunities for MSMEs in the Rising Rajasthan Summit. Many discounts are also being given under Rajasthan Investment Promotion Scheme.
