Jaipur : Rajasthan’s 88.44 lakh Social Security Pension Scheme pensioners will be given an increased amount. For this, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma will do this in a program. CM Bhajanlal Sharma will DBT the increased amount in the accounts of pensioners under the Social Security Pension Scheme in Jhunjhunu on June 27. During this, the CM will also interact with the beneficiaries. Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Shri Avinash Gehlot said that Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has fulfilled another promise made before the elections. He said that our government is committed to benefit the person standing at the last rung of the society and his family with the facilities of the state government in the spirit of Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas Sabka Prayas Sabka Vishwas and the government will continue the work of public welfare in future as well. He said that the resolution of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of developed India and developed Rajasthan will also be fulfilled.
Money directly transferred to the accounts of 88.44 lakh beneficiaries
In the program, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will transfer the increased amount under the Social Security Pension Scheme directly to the accounts of the beneficiaries. He said that an amount of Rs 1038.55 crore will be sent directly to the accounts of 88.44 lakh beneficiaries through DBT.
Pension amount increased from 1000 to 1150 rupees
He informed that from April 1, 2024, the pension amount is being increased from Rs 1000 to Rs 1150. The department is operating the Chief Minister’s Old Age Pension Scheme, Chief Minister’s Single Women’s Pension Scheme, Chief Minister’s Special Disabled Persons’ Pension Scheme, Small and Marginal Old Age Farmers’ Samman Pension Scheme, Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme, Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme and Indira Gandhi National Disabled Pension Schemes. Avinash Gehlot said that the state government is providing economic and social security to the elderly and the needy by giving them pension and efforts are being made to connect the deprived and backward classes of the society with the mainstream.
