Government is working with the aim of bringing Uttarakhand into the category of best states: Pushkar Singh Dhami

Chamoli, 13 November (IANS). To stop the migration from the mountains in Uttarakhand, an important meeting of the Migration Prevention Commission was held in Bharadisain on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. In this, along with the discussion on the main causes of migration, there was discussion on meeting the basic needs to prevent it.

Chief Minister Dhami said in a post on social media platform Instructions were given for effective implementation of the schemes.

During the meeting, short, short and long term policies for migration prevention and increasing the availability of facilities in marginal/rural areas were discussed with the members of the Commission. Good suggestions have also been received from migrant brothers and sisters to prevent migration, which will soon be implemented.

The Chief Minister said, “We are working seriously for the development of employment and infrastructure in the state, education and health services are being strengthened. The suggestions of the Migration Prevention Commission in the meeting will be implemented at various departmental levels as soon as possible. .

The Chief Minister said that the government is working on the goal of bringing Uttarakhand into the category of best states by the year 2025. To implement the suggestions given by the Migration Prevention Commission, a concrete action plan is being prepared through the concerned departments. The process is being simplified to benefit more and more people from public welfare schemes. He said that the state government has implemented several schemes to stop migration in rural areas. Under this, basic facilities are being developed in the villages and new employment opportunities are being created. Efforts are being made to connect the migrants from India and abroad with this campaign.
