Varanasi, December 11 (IANS). Uttar Pradesh Congress President Ajay Rai, while talking to journalists on Wednesday, strongly condemned the ongoing atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh. He even demanded action from the Indian government.
Congress state president Ajay Rai said that the central government should call the Bangladesh ambassador and warn that such incidents should stop immediately. PM Modi should take immediate action. They have brought new Rafale, it should be flown.
He said that convenience fee is being implemented in the entire government from top to bottom. Because of this people are not getting justice. The incidents are increasing in the state. The entire government has become corrupt.
After Sambhal, now in the dispute regarding Atala Masjid of Jaunpur, he said that this government is doing its politics only by building temple-mosque. There is inflation, unemployment, law and order. Farmers are not getting fertilizer. Paddy purchasing centers are not opening, there is no water in the canals. They see a temple in the mosque. Somewhere a mosque is being demolished. They are only talking about divide and rule.
On the statement of Swami Prasad Maurya, Ajay Rai said that how can farmers and youth get employment, how can peace be maintained in the state. This is not being discussed. These people are talking only about temples, mosques, gurudwaras and Buddhist monasteries. There is no end to such things. There is only talk of partition. The government should pay attention to this.
He said that we support the opposition parties on the no-confidence motion of the Vice President. Our Vice President only talks about farmers. But, do not stand by their side.
On Arvind Kejriwal contesting the elections alone, he said that we are doing our work with full strength. The Congress party in Delhi should move forward by taking strong decisions. Whatever work is visible in Delhi, be it roads, over bridges, bus facilities or other facilities, all are from the time of Sheila Dikshit’s government. The people there once again want a Congress government.
On the ongoing tussle in India Block, he said that as members, we stood shoulder to shoulder with SP and will continue to do so in future too. We are not going to back down on the issue of Azam Khan. Fighting a battle on Sambhal.
