Mumbai, November 26 (IANS). Senior Maharashtra BJP leader and former minister Sudhir Mungantiwar spoke to IANS on Tuesday. During this, he expressed his views regarding the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra and government formation.
The former minister said that it takes some time to form a government after every election. No matter how much majority comes, it takes some time to form the government. There is no obstacle of any kind between us. It is wrong to say that it is too late. Everything will become clear in the coming five to six days. Who will be the Chief Minister, everything will become clear and the government will also be formed.
He said that the central leadership sitting in Delhi will take the decision on the face of the Chief Minister. It is not for me to decide. Swearing-in ceremony will take place where appropriate.
It is discussed that some workers and MLAs wish that Eknath Shinde should once again become the Chief Minister and there should be a formula of two and a half years, on this he said that the discussion of such a formula does not come to us. Big leaders decide what formula they have. We don’t know about that.
In response to another question, he said that Constitution Day is being celebrated and should also be celebrated. It is our resolve to take the country forward. Thousands of martyrs sacrificed their lives at the feet of Mother India and did not worry about their families. This country is my family, my country should move forward on the path of progress, I have worked with this feeling. We will follow the Constitution. But, we have a problem in making the world follow the Constitution. But, I will not follow this, this habit of many leaders should be changed.
He further said that the Constitution has always been under threat from Congress. They themselves are holding a conference to save the Constitution. If anyone has hurt the Constitution the most, it is the Congress. Congress has always insulted Ambedkar ji. Congress is always a burning house, whoever goes will burn.
