Bharatpur : After the issue of animal fat being found in the Prasad of Tirupati Balaji temple in Andhra Pradesh heated up, its effect is visible in Rajasthan. A campaign has been started regarding this in the major temples of the state. The quality of Prasad has started being checked in 14 temples of the state. For this, the Bhog Certificate has also been issued by the Food Department. This certificate has also been issued to Shri Banke Bihari Temple in Bharatpur. Thousands of devotees reach here every day to have darshan.
Kheer-puri, vegetable-roti and parathas are offered to Banke Bihari
Mahant Manoj Sharma told that Banke Bihari temple is counted among the major temples of Rajasthan. More than 10 thousand devotees come here for darshan in the morning and evening. Here, different types of Rajbhog are offered to Bihari ji every day. Which includes Kheer-Puri, Sabzi-Roti, Khichdi, Paratha, Makhan Mishri, Halwa-Chana and Poha etc. Special care is taken to prepare this bhog. The kitchen in which this prasad is prepared is cleaned daily. Along with this, purity is also taken care of while preparing the bhog.
Now Prasad is prepared in the devotee’s home instead of the temple kitchen
Earlier, the Rajbhog offered to Banke Bihari was prepared in the kitchen of the temple, but after the construction of the temple, this tradition changed. Now this bhoga is prepared at a devotee’s house. The Mahant says that a lot of care is taken while preparing the bhoga in this center of faith of millions of devotees. This is the reason why the Food Department has issued a Bhog Certificate to Shri Banke Bihari Temple. The prasad distributed to the devotees here is pure and devotees can accept this prasad without any hesitation.
