Greater Noida, 6 December (IANS). Greater Noida’s City Park (Samrat Mihir Bhoj Park) will once again be fragrant with the fragrance of flowers. Flower festival will be organized on 21, 22 and 23 February 2025. Greater Noida Authority has started preparing for this. This time in the spring season, the residents of Greater Noida and surrounding areas will get to see a better flower exhibition than before.
On Friday, a meeting of the Horticulture Department was held under the chairmanship of ACEO Srilakshmi VS of Greater Noida Authority, in which representatives of Floriculture Society also participated. In this meeting, preparations for organizing the flower festival were discussed. Like last year, the flower festival will be organized in 2025 on the instructions of Greater Noida Authority CEO NG Ravi Kumar.
Srilakshmi VS, ACEO of Greater Noida Authority, said that in this time’s flower exhibition, along with all the species of flowers, floral designs, land stepping, decorations etc. prepared by experts in floriculture will be seen. Apart from this, there will be a program of live music and dance.
He said that along with plant and flower exhibition, there will also be garden competitions, on the spot competitions, cultural programmes, street plays, painting competition for children, inter school dance and music competitions in various categories. Prizes will also be given to the winners of the competition.
ACEO has appealed to horticulture experts, organizations, societies, companies and residents to give suggestions to further improve this flower show. Apart from Horticulture Department GM VK Gupta, Manager Garima Singh and Pawan Bhati, Gautam Dev, Manjula Mishra etc. from Floriculture Society were present in this meeting.
