Green-clean development will now go hand in hand to make Jaipur cities livable

Jaipur : Green and clean development will now happen together in the cities of Jaipur state. This includes work related to cleanliness, greenery, green building, infrastructure construction and clean energy. For this, a team of concerned departments will coordinate each other’s projects. That is, if any one government agency is working, there is a possibility of it polluting the environment or affecting the daily routine of the local people, then the other concerned agencies will work together to solve the problem there. In such work, two or more departments will work together.

Work will start in the cities of Rajasthan on the lines of the Clean and Green Village Program of the Central Government. There will also be a focus on stopping carbon emissions (carbon foot print). Because, 110 to 115 million metric tons of carbon dioxide is being emitted here every year. Of this, 34 percent is from power plants and 31 per day is from transportation and construction sector. Recently, this need was also expressed in the ‘South Asia Energy Forum’ program organized by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Jaipur. The state government is also planning to include representatives of the forum in it.

Plans will be made together, coordination will take place, discussions are also going on to seek the support of South Asia Energy Forum.

Will increase this work also

1. Green Building: To promote the green building concept, many facilities have been provided in the building bylaws. On this basis, builders in urban bodies are being asked to bring projects related to green building concept.

3. Green Hydrogen: A target has been set for a plant with a capacity of 2000 kilo tonnes (per year) to produce green hydrogen. This will require 50 thousand MW solar and wind energy. Green hydrogen will be produced from clean energy. This will reduce carbon foot print.

2. Industry: Work will be done for maximum participation of cement and other large scale industries in the international market for carbon credits. Sirohi, Udaipur, Bhiwadi are the main industrial areas in this.

need emerged

random The side effect of urbanization is being seen in the form of climate change. Countries of South Asia also expressed concern over this in Jaipur and expressed the need for coordination in the work of green and clean infrastructure. This is especially important for building people-friendly, environmentally sustainable and efficient cities.
