Ahmedabad, November 20 (IANS). Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi, and other MLAs arrived to watch the film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ on Wednesday. Actor Jitendra was also present along with these leaders.

Harsh Sanghvi said that through this film the country and the world will know the entire truth of the Godhra incident of Gujarat. Expressing his gratitude to the filmmakers, he said that this film presents important events from the right perspective and will work to convey the truth to the people. He said that the Sabarmati incident has been portrayed correctly in the film, due to which the misconceptions that were spread will be dispelled.

At the same time, other MLAs of the area also expressed happiness after watching this film. He said that the Sabarmati incident in 2002 was presented in a distorted manner. Many kar sevaks had died in that, but no one raised proper questions on it. The opposition has repeatedly misrepresented this matter, and now the truth is coming out through this film.

Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had also described this film as important as Kashmir Files and Kerala Files and said that this film will also reveal the truth. Through this film, the filmmakers are working to convey the correct information about this incident to the public.

Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri also watched this film in Delhi. Film producer Ekta Kapoor was also with him.

After the appreciation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the film has been made tax free in many states of the country. Hardeep Singh Puri said after watching the film, “First of all we should congratulate Ekta Kapoor and her amazing team. The actors have done amazing work in the film. But there is much more to it than all this. She has brought that truth forward.”
