Tonk : A 50-year-old teacher posted in a government school in Rajasthan has put the Guru-Shishya tradition to shame. The girl students of the school complained to their families about Laik Ahmed Qureshi posted in the government school of Niwai subdivision of Tonk district. Complaints were made about the teacher molesting the girl students and showing obscene videos on mobile. The family members showed seriousness about the matter and complained to the Education Department and the local MLA. A written complaint was also given to the police in the matter. After that, Niwai police station on Sunday arrested the teacher who was showing obscene videos to the girl students in the school. The investigation into this matter is ongoing.
Teacher will be presented in court on Monday
Niwai police station officer Hariram Verma said that a complaint was received in Niwai police station regarding a teacher working in a government school of the area. The accused teacher Laiq Ahmed Qureshi used to show obscene videos and molest the girls in the government school. After receiving a complaint regarding this in the police station on September 27, the police registered a case under the POCSO Act and arrested the accused teacher. The accused teacher will be presented in the court on Monday.
