New Delhi, December 1 (IANS). A mega rally was organized on Sunday under the leadership of Doma Confederation at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. In this rally, Congress leaders raised their voice on Constitution, EVM and other issues.
Congress leader Udit Raj, while talking to IANS, hit back at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief’s statement. He has said that from time to time he does something to divert attention. Is population important or development of the country? He is taking the country back 200 years. This will increase poverty in the country. If resources will not increase and emphasis will be placed on increasing population, it will only create problems. There will be more exploitation. The matter should be about science.
He alleged that BJP hates the Constitution. I think that if BJP had full majority this time, they would have changed the Constitution. In Jharkhand, BJP people wanted to change the direction of elections by doing Hindu-Muslim tax, but they could not succeed in it.
This rally at Ramlila Maidan is a rally of Bahujan Samaj, which includes Dalits, OBCs, minorities and tribals. In the last 10 years, reservation has almost been abolished and privatization has taken over. Bulldozers are operated on the basis of caste and religion. The court has no role anymore. The executive, judiciary and legislature are considered the pillars of democracy. The court had no meaning. A direct order comes to go and bulldoze the house. Therefore the Constitution is in danger. What is the status of the Election Commission of India today? Whatever demands are being raised in today’s rally are related to the Constitution.
RJD spokesperson Mrityunjay Tiwari has said that the leaders of ‘India’ block are continuously saying that the Constitution is being tampered with. Those people consider themselves above the Constitution. This cannot be accepted by the country. This country will run according to rules, laws and constitution. Due to this, people sitting in the central government are worried. The public will soon find a solution to their problem.
