Half skull missing, intestines removed, mother murdered in front of son, people got goosebumps

Pali : In a heartbreaking incident, a 35-year-old woman died in a bear attack at Juni Fulad village near Siriyari town in Pali district. This incident, which took place at 8 am on Sunday morning, has created a sensation in the entire area. The deceased Santosh Devi Rawat had gone to the forest with her 8 year old son Tejraj to collect wood. While she was breaking branches near the mountain lion’s hut, a bear suddenly attacked her. Frightened by the bear attack, son Tejraj started shouting loudly. Hearing the screams, nearby people reached the spot, but by then it was too late.

Eyes gouged out and ribs broken…

The bear had badly scratched Santosh Devi’s face. His eyes were gouged out and the skin of his head was torn. Intestines were taken out and ribs were broken. Seriously injured Santosh was immediately taken to Marwar Hospital, from where he was referred to Bangar Hospital in Pali. But he died during treatment.

Panic in the entire area after this incident

The deceased’s husband Ram Singh Rawat is a hotel worker in Ahmedabad (Gujarat). Santosh has three children. After this incident, there is an atmosphere of panic in the entire area. According to Jojawar Range Ranger Vijendra Singh Dabi, there are more than 150 bears in the range area. Bears consider humans a threat and attack them.

Doctor said – never seen such horrific cruelty

Dr. JP Rangi of Bangar Hospital said that the woman had serious injuries on her face and skull. He said he had never seen such a brutal attack before. Local people say that the number of bears is increasing in the forest and they often come to the villages. Due to this, people’s lives remain in danger. He has demanded from the administration that appropriate steps should be taken to catch the bears.
