Hanuman Beniwal got a shock again in Khinvsar, know why Beniwal’s stronghold collapsed.

Nagaur : The results of by-elections held on seven seats in Rajasthan have been unexpected this time. In these elections, BJP has demolished Congress’s stronghold Jhunjhunu as well as Khinvsar, the stronghold of RLP supremo Hanuman Beniwal. Like Jhunjhunu, BJP has surprised everyone by registering a resounding victory in Khinvsar seat also. In Khinvsar, BJP’s Renvatram Danga has won the election by defeating RLP Chief and Nagaur MP Hanuman Beniwal’s wife Kanika Beniwal by 13870 votes. RLP is shocked by the defeat in Khinvsar.

The reason for this victory of BJP is believed to be the re-nomination of Revatram Danga, who lost the last election by a very small margin. In the 2023 Danga Assembly elections, Hanuman lost to Beniwal by a margin of just less than two thousand votes. In the by-elections held 10 months after that election, BJP capitalized on Danga’s popularity by fielding him back and finally defeated RLP.

Beniwal had made his brother MLA last time.

At the same time, politics of family politics is also being held responsible for the defeat of RLP. Hanuman Beniwal has been MLA from Khinvsar seat for four consecutive terms. Among these, he became MLA once from BJP, once as an independent and twice from his own Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP). In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, he became MP in alliance with NDA. When this seat became vacant, Beniwal made his younger brother the MLA from there.

Beniwal fielded his wife this time

This time he contested the MP election in alliance with Congress and won. But this time also he fielded his wife from Khinvsar seat. Political experts say that it is here that Beniwal was defeated. It became ingrained in the minds of party workers and other voters that they too were promoting nepotism. Hence the voters now moved towards BJP and RLP came to the ground. Now RLP does not have a single MLA.
