Hanumangarh : The 24th State Conference of the Communist Party of India Marxist will be held in Hanumangarh on 13, 14 and 15 December. 300 delegates from all over Rajasthan will participate in the conference. How to take forward the struggles of farmers, laborers and common people will be discussed in the conference. This information was given by party officials in the office of Communist Party of India Marxist on Saturday.
CPI(M) District Secretary and former MLA Balwan Poonia said that the Chief Minister is counting the achievements of his one year. They are requested to save the office of the Chief Engineer of Water Resources Department, Hanumangarh, which is under siege for the last nine days due to non-payment of Rs 50 lakh to the employee. He said that the government does not have money for roads, opening new colleges etc. Under the Social Security Pension Scheme, the elderly are not able to get pension for three-four months. In such a situation, what the government is celebrating on completion of one year is beyond comprehension.
He said that two days before Diwali, Adani’s Rs 12,500 crore was waived off, but in Rajasthan, the work worth Rs 1,000 crore, let alone Rs 1,000 crore, which was a work order in the Gehlot government, has been started by the Bhajan Lal government. Haven’t been able to get it done yet. The more we criticize the government, the less it is.
Senior CPI(M) leader Rameshwar Verma said that the state conference of the party is going to be held in Hanumangarh after 22 years. On the first day, on 13th December, there will be a general meeting at Durga Temple Dharamshala. Verma said that the party holds a state conference after three years and a new committee is selected. The program for the next three years is decided in the state conference. He said that at present the central and state governments are taking decisions against farmers, laborers and the general public. Due to this, neither farmers’ crops are being sold at MSP nor DAP fertilizer is being available. Electricity prices are increasing. Water prices are being increased. There is no policy to provide employment to the unemployed. Law and order has ended. There is not enough water in the canals. There are no employment resources for laborers. The only spinning mill of Hanumangarh has been closed. How to form a state-wide movement on all these issues will be discussed in the conference.
