Hanumangarh : Students from minority community pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate level studies away from home will get financial assistance. Under Ambedkar DBT Voucher Scheme, a recharge amount of Rs 2000 per month (maximum 10 months) will be given. In this, only the students of Muslim, Sikh, Jain, Christian, Buddhist and Parsi communities studying regularly in the academic courses of Arts, Science and Commerce faculty of government colleges at undergraduate and postgraduate level running at the district headquarters will be included.
District Minority Welfare Officer Akshit Bishnoi said that there is a provision of reimbursement amount for the facilities like accommodation, food and electricity-water etc. for the students studying by renting a room at some other place away from home (as paying guest). Under this scheme, interested minority category college students can apply in e-Mitra/SSOID through Janadhaar at sso.rajasthan.gov.in and https:// SJMS.rajasth an.gov.in till 30 November 2024.
