Hanumangarh : Technical and other employees of Rajasthan Vidyut Sanyukta Sangharsh Samiti staged a protest on Monday against privatization in the corporation. The employees have submitted a memorandum demanding the government to stop privatization in the Electricity Corporation. Members of Rajasthan Electricity Joint Struggle Committee said that privatization is continuously increasing in the corporation in the name of various works. Employees have been opposing privatization for a long time. Employees are also facing problems due to increasing privatization in the corporation. All the employees are mobilized against this.
By protesting, the employees have submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister regarding the demands of stopping the increasing privatization in the department, not giving contract to the operator of the electricity grid, providing the benefit of OPS facility to the employees working in the five electricity distribution corporations of the state and other demands. During this period, the employees have also accused the state government of continuously ignoring their demands. By submitting a memorandum, a request has been made to fulfill the demands of the employees soon.
On this occasion Om Godara, Shailendra Kumar, Rajendra Sikar, BMS District Minister Atmaram Verma, Kuldeep Sharma, Mohit, Vikas Beniwal, Kishan Singh Rajawat, Dinesh Sai, Gurmukh Singh, Jitendra Shekhawat, Manish Badera, Akash Garg, Imran Khan, Mamta, Poonam, Sunita, Harpreet, Pooja, Rajkumar Swamy, Sabram Verma, Jaskaran Singh, Raju Jakhar etc. were present.
