Hanumangarh Excise Department inspected marriage palaces and hotels

Hanumangarh News Desk: The Excise Department is on alert mode to take action against those serving liquor without approval in hotels and restaurants during the wedding season. The teams of the department are conducting daily investigations in marriage palaces, hotels-restaurants etc. of the city.

In this sequence, Excise Department teams investigated three-four hotels, bars, marriage palaces etc. on Friday night. However, there was no case of serving liquor to customers without permission etc.

According to Hanumangarh Hanumangarh Excise Police Station Officer Vinod Kumar, currently the wedding season is going on. On the instructions of the District Excise Officer, the teams of the department are investigating whether liquor is being served to the customers without a permit in the registered marriage palaces etc. Apart from this, surprise checks are also being done in dhabas and hotels. Hotel owners are being restricted to serve liquor to customers only after obtaining permits.
