Hanumangarh : farmers of Pallu tehsil in Rawatsar block of Hanumangarh district protested demanding the pending claims of Rabi 2022-23 and Kharif 2023 to be deposited in the accounts of farmers as soon as possible. The farmers reached the Tehsil office with their various demands and registered their protest and submitted a memorandum to the Tehsildar in the name of the District Collector. Farmer leader Keshav Panchariya said that in Rabi 2022, mustard claims were made in Jhedasar and Maila Patwar mandals.
Whereas claims for gram were made in Moter and Daniyasar villages. Now when the claims were calculated, the claims in those Patwar divisions are showing zero. Panchariya said that hence the claims of these Patwar Mandals should be investigated and the claims made should be deposited in the accounts of the farmers as soon as possible. Farmers demanded that all bounce claims of Pallu tehsil pending till Kharif 2023 should be deposited in the accounts of farmers as soon as possible. Farmer leaders said that many policies of Pallu tehsil for Rabi 2021 and Kharif 2022 had been rejected. Demands have been made several times for its restoration, but no one has listened to it yet. Farmers have demanded from the administration that a meeting should be organized with the farmer delegation and higher officials of the company and the rejected policies should also be reinstated. More than 10 hectare policies of Pallu tehsil were rejected. They should be investigated and claims should be deposited in the accounts of farmers as soon as possible.
