Hanumangarh starts signature campaign against increasing drug addiction

Hanumangarh : To prevent the increasing drug addiction in Hanumangarh area, the Student Federation of India Tehsil Committee on Saturday started a signature campaign on the theme of drug-free Hanumangarh in front of the gate of the biggest Government Nehru Memorial Post Graduate College of the district.

On this occasion, State Vice President of SFI and former Student Union President Mahendra Kumar Sharma said that drug addiction is increasing at a fast pace in Hanumangarh area. Students and youth are the most affected by this. He said that the signature campaign has been started to draw the attention of the government and administration so that the increasing drug addiction can be stopped.

He said that due to increasing drug addiction many youth have died. Many deaths are not even indicated in the government figures. Demanding the government and administration to stop the growing drug trade, he said that he will strengthen this campaign by uniting all the students of Hanumangarh area and will work to awaken the government and administration. On this occasion, SFI Tehsil President Mohit Kumar, Urmila Rathod, Khushboo Bansal, Tamanna Kumari, Pooja, Pushpa, Divya, Manoj, Ravindra, Pawan etc. were present.
