Pratapgarh : Pratapgarh Kotwali Police has taken action under Rajasthan Anti-Social Activities Prevention Act 2006 Rajpasa. In which hardcore accused Zaid Khan Pathan has been arrested. The police sent him to jail. Kotwal Deepak Kumar Banjara said that under the direction of District Superintendent of Police Vineetkumar Bansal, preventive action was taken against the hardcore criminals of the district. Under this, action was taken against the hardcore accused of the police station, Zaid, son of Azam Khan Pathan, resident of Akhepur Rajpasa Act. On which a recommendation was made to District Collector and District Magistrate Dr. Anjali Rajoria. After this, the powers conferred on him under the Prevention of Anti-Social Activities Act 2006 were used. The accused was detained in the district jail.
Police station in-charge Deepak Kumar said that hardcore accused Zaid is involved in serious criminal activities. Cases are registered against him in Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. In which 12 cases of serious nature like assault, intimidating people, capturing helpless persons and disputed properties, extorting ransom by threatening to kill businessmen and murder, possession of illegal weapons etc. have been registered. Hardcore accused Zaid Khan is continuously involved in acts affecting social security and public peace.
