Jaipur : Rajasthan’s nominated Governor Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde will take oath today at 4 pm in a ceremony organized at Raj Bhavan. Chief Justice Manindra Mohan Srivastava will administer the oath to the newly appointed Governor. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani, members of the Council of Ministers and MLAs will be present at the oath ceremony. Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie and other special guests will also attend the ceremony. After the oath taking ceremony, dinner will be given to the new Governor and former Governor by CM Bhajanlal Sharma. Governor Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde reached Jaipur on Tuesday afternoon by state plane. As soon as he got off the plane, he was greeted by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani. After this Bagde reached Raj Bhavan. He was given a guard of honor at the airport and Raj Bhavan.
CM introduced the members of the cabinet
Apart from Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani, Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa, Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant, Director General of Police UR Sahu and many senior administrative and police officials also welcomed the Governor. On this occasion, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma introduced the members of the cabinet to the newly appointed Governor Bagde.
The new governor worshiped Lord Shiva at Raj Bhavan
On reaching the Raj Bhavan, the Governor’s Secretary Gaurav Goyal welcomed Bagde by presenting a bouquet of flowers. Bagde offered water at the Raj Rajeshwar temple in the Raj Bhavan and offered Bilva leaves and Prasad to Lord Shiva and prayed for the well-being of everyone. He also met Governor Kalraj Mishra at the Raj Bhavan.
