‘Have the police burnt the vehicles?’ Villagers got angry after hearing Kirori Lal Meena’s answer to Chief Minister’s question.

Jaipur : Rajasthan Government Minister Kirori Lal Meena along with the delegation of Samravata village reached the residence of Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedham on Tuesday afternoon to meet him. During this, the demands of the villagers were discussed, information about which was given in the press conference after some time. Kirori Lal Meena told that the villagers had presented their 4 demands before the government. All their demands have been accepted.

‘The damage caused by violence will be compensated’

Kirori Lal Meena said, ‘Our mind is made up. We will compensate them for all their losses. An assessment report will be made, in which it will be mentioned how much loss was caused to whom. Only on the basis of this report, people will be compensated for their treatment, losses incurred in houses and vehicles. We are now going to meet CM Bhajanlal Sharma. Information about how much time will be taken in this investigation report and by when the villagers will get help will be available only after the meeting.

What were the four demands of the villagers of Samravata?

Villager Shankar Lal Meena told that we had demanded from Kirori Lal Meena that Samravata village should be removed from Deoli and added to Uniara subdivision, innocent people should be released, the damage caused in the village should be compensated and action should be taken against those who misbehave with women. Let it be done. He has accepted all these demands. The police have released 19 people from our village and the minister has assured action against the culprits.

Division Commissioner will investigate, not judicial inquiry

During the press conference, when Kirori Lal Meena was asked why there was a delay in the arrest of Naresh Meena? Responding to this, the minister said, ‘This is a matter of investigation. The Division Commissioner is investigating this matter. As soon as the investigation is completed, the report will be submitted to the government, after which further action will be taken. We had postponed the judicial inquiry into this matter because it would have taken a lot of time. And if justice was not provided on time, people would become impatient. Keeping all this in mind, we have asked the Division Commissioner to complete the investigation in a limited time.

‘Some will be the police’s fault, some will be the agitators’ fault’

When Kirori Lal Meena was asked that some policemen were also involved in the violence in Samravata village. People allege that policemen burnt vehicles, how will the government identify those guilty policemen? Responding to this, the Cabinet Minister said, ‘Clapping is done with both hands. There must be some police mistake. Must be of some agitators. After investigation, milk will become milk and water will become water. Our intentions are not bad. The government has given assurance with clear intentions. If the villagers demand anything in future, we will fulfill it. Bhajanlal government is not lagging behind in issues of public interest. It is a government that takes quick action.

Reply given on Hanuman Beniwal’s slapping statement
Hanuman Beniwal had said in Jodhpur a day ago that Naresh Meena slapped the SDM only once. Had it been me, I would have added 2-3 more. When Kirori Lal Meena was asked to comment on this statement, he said, ‘There is democracy in the country. Everyone has the right to express their views. I can’t hold anyone’s tongue. This may be his thinking. But I don’t think like that.
