Sawai Madhopur : A horrific road accident took place on Sunday evening near Mainpura village on Lalsot Kota Highway. Head constable Kajod Meena, resident of Kerala village of Malarna Dungar police station area, working in Sawai Madhopur SP office, died after being hit by a speeding car. Two other persons were seriously injured. The accident was so severe that a bike caught fire. Hearing the loud bang, nearby villagers reached the spot and informed the Surwal police station about the incident.
After a lot of effort, the villagers and the police brought the fire in the bike under control. After that, the head constable in critical condition and two other persons injured in the accident were taken to Sawai Madhopur District Hospital. Seeing the critical condition of Head Constable Kajod Meena, the doctors referred her to Jaipur, but on the way, the Head Constable died near Lalsot. On the other hand, after getting information about the incident, there was chaos in the family of the deceased. ASI Harishankar of Surwal police station said that the head constable Kajod, working in the Sawai Madhopur SP office, was going to his village Kerala on a motorcycle after doing duty in the Mahapanchayat in Barwada on Meena Chauth. On the second bike, Kamil, a resident of Daubada, and his friend Salman, a resident of Pachipalya, were coming towards Bhadauti.
Meanwhile, a speeding Swift Dezire car going from Lalsot towards Sawai Madhopur hit both the motorcycles. Due to which a motorcycle caught fire. However, the villagers controlled the fire in time. After the accident, there was a jam on the highway for some time. Where the police made the traffic smooth by shifting the damaged vehicles to one side of the road. The injured were taken to Sawai Madhopur District Hospital. When the condition of the head constable became very serious in the accident, he was referred to Jaipur, but while going to Jaipur, head constable Kajod Meena died near Lalsot.
