Hearing on the petition related to Kota Bar elections will be held on 22nd.

Kota : Kota Abhivyakti Parishad’s petition related to Kota elections will be heard in the High Court on 22nd November. The court has given instructions to submit the reply on the petition by November 22. Two lawyers from Kota, Kripa Shankar Shringi and Bharat Singh Adsela, had filed a petition in this regard.

Both the lawyers had accused the Advocate Council of misleading the House and hiding the facts. The court has been demanded to conduct elections for the Kota Advocate Council as per the Constitution. On which the court had given notice to the Secretary of Bar Council of Rajasthan, President of Advocate Council Kota and General Secretary and sought their reply. Hearing in this case was held on 18 November. After the hearing, the court has given the date of November 22 for the next appearance. The petitioners, former president of Advocate Council Kota, Kripashankar Shringi and Bharat Singh Adsela said that the High Court has ordered the elections of all the bar associations of the state to be conducted in the second week of December. Orders have been passed. But the Kota Advocate Council does not want to conduct elections in defiance of the High Court order. A petition in this regard was filed in the Jaipur High Court on 7 November.
