Jaipur : In the 16th Legislative Assembly of Rajasthan on Wednesday (24 July), Congress MLA Shravan Kumar made objectionable remarks about saints and babas. He said, “One baba is in jail. Another is in another jail. Don’t get involved in their affairs, otherwise you will be ruined.” There was a lot of uproar after the insulting comment. As soon as the assembly started on 25 July, the MLAs of the Bharatiya Janata Party opened a front against the opposition party. Shravan Kumar was asked to apologize, but the MLA did not listen to a single word.

On the other hand, MLA Baba Balak Nath created a ruckus on this issue. He said- “You will have to apologize in front of everyone. Otherwise I will gather the Sant Samaj outside your house. I will not let you leave the house.” On this, Congress MLA Shravan Kumar said- “They are threatening me in front of everyone. I want to tell you that I do not like anyone’s bullying. Neither do I want to apologize to anyone. Whatever I have said is correct.”
