Rajasthan : Heavy rain alert has been issued once again in the state. According to the Meteorological Center Jaipur, there is a possibility of increase in rain activities with thundershowers at some places in eastern Rajasthan on 18-19 September. Director of Meteorological Center Radheshyam Sharma said that a deep depression has formed over West Bengal and Jharkhand. It is likely to move towards the west in the next 24 hours and weaken and turn into a depression.
There will be heavy rain here from tomorrow
He said that on September 18, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning in some places in Bharatpur, Jaipur division. There is also a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder in some places in Kota, Udaipur division. He said that the weather will remain mainly dry in most parts of western Rajasthan and on September 18-19, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places in Shekhawati region and Bikaner division.
It will rain here within three hours
Just now the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain in Rajasthan which will remain effective till 10 am. According to IMD, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain at some places in Bundi, Kota, Jhalawar, Dausa, Tonk and Jaipur districts of Rajasthan. A yellow alert for rain has been issued here for three hours.
How to protect yourself from heavy rain
According to the latest report of the Meteorological Department, during the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature of the capital Jaipur was recorded at 34 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 24.9 degrees.
While issuing the warning, the Meteorological Department also gave safety guidelines which are as follows-
– During rains, maintain distance from electricity poles in waterlogged areas.
– Jeans and grains kept in agricultural markets should be covered and kept at a higher place so that they can be saved from getting wet.
– Make proper management to protect the ripe crops in the fields from getting wet.
– Do not take shelter under trees during thunder.
