Rajasthan : After a long wait, the southwest monsoon has finally become active in many districts of the state including Jaipur. With the low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal turning into a circulation system, monsoon clouds have covered many districts of the state. In the capital Jaipur, intermittent drizzle has been going on for the last 24 hours and people have got great relief from heat and humidity due to pleasant weather. On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert in the morning and warned of one or two rounds of heavy rain in some places in Jaipur, Dausa and Bharatpur districts in the next three hours. At the same time, light to moderate rain with thunder has been forecast in Jhunjhunu, Alwar, Sikar, Tonk, Ajmer, Nagaur and Karauli districts.
Pink City drenched with drizzling rain
In the month of Sawan, drizzle has drenched the Pink City in the last 24 hours. The showers continued from yesterday afternoon till late night. When the citizens woke up this morning, drizzle welcomed them. Due to the weekend, movement of people was seen since morning at the tourist and picnic spots of the city. People who went out for morning walk were also seen trying to avoid the rain. The weather department has warned of light to moderate and at some places heavy rain in more than 20 districts of the state including Jaipur in the next 24 hours.
