Jaipur : Monsoon is fully active in Rajasthan. Heavy rains are continuing in most of the districts of the state. At the same time, there is a downpour of monsoon in many districts. The rain that started late Thursday night in the capital Jaipur continued today as well. Sometimes it is raining heavily and sometimes drizzling in Jaipur on Friday. There is a rain alert in 12 districts of Rajasthan today. Out of these, heavy rain is expected in 9 districts. According to the Meteorological Center, a cyclonic circulation system is formed over north-west Uttar Pradesh in eastern Rajasthan. The monsoon trough line is passing through Ganganagar, Jaipur.
In the last 24 hours, the maximum rainfall has been recorded in Kota district. It rained 203 mm here. Whereas, Dausa received 197 mm i.e. 7.88 inches of rain. Similarly, 6 inches of rain fell in Lalsot. 4 inches of rain has been recorded in Nainwa of Tonk. Due to heavy rains, the dams overflowed. Apart from this, on Thursday, some parts of Udaipur, Ajmer division received moderate to heavy rain and some places received heavy rain.

Kota received two and a half inch rain on Wednesday, while Nainwan in Bundi district received 4 inches of rain. The farmers in Bundi district were delighted by the rain. Bardha dam, known as Hadoti’s Mini Goa, was filled with water. In the last 24 hours, 203 mm of rain was recorded in Kota district. Nainwan received the highest rainfall of 119 mm.
