Jaipur : Today the weather department has issued a rain alert in 8 districts. Whereas in Sikar, after the day’s bright sunshine and humidity, eastern winds blew. People battling the heat and humidity got relief with the change in weather. After a long wait, eastern winds blew in the evening and dark clouds covered the sky. After the winds blew till around five o’clock, there was scattered rain with lightning. Intermittent rain till late night reduced the effect of heat and humidity. People heaved a sigh of relief due to the moist winds. Earlier, people were miserable due to the intense humidity during the day.
According to the weather department, moderate to heavy rain may occur at some places in Jaipur and Bharatpur divisions during the next 48 hours. Sikar was cloudy since Wednesday morning and there were chances of rain. It was hot in the afternoon due to bright sunshine. There was some relief in the evening due to eastern winds. The maximum temperature in Fatehpur was 37.5 degrees and minimum temperature was 28 degrees and the maximum temperature in Sikar was 37 degrees and minimum temperature was 26.5 degrees.
Alert in these districts today
Today, a yellow alert has been issued in Alwar, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Jhunjhunu, Karauli districts. The department has also predicted heavy rain, thunderstorms and lightning. An alert for thunderstorms and lightning has been issued in Baran and Jhalawar.
