Rajasthan : Monsoon is fully active in Rajasthan. But, from today onwards, monsoon will show its fierce form across the state. There will be torrential rain for four consecutive days across the state. The Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert for rain. There is a rain alert in 30 districts of the state today. Out of these, there is a possibility of heavy rain in 8 districts. In the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall was recorded in Gangdhar of Jhalawar at 87 mm and Maujmabad of Jaipur at 86 mm.
Gangdhar received the highest rainfall in 24 hours
According to the weather centre, in the last 24 hours, rain accompanied by thunder occurred at some places in the state. In eastern Rajasthan, the highest rainfall was recorded in Gangdhar at 87 mm and Maujmabad at 86 mm. Apart from this, 66 mm rain was recorded in Deeg and 36 mm in Osian of Jodhpur. Monsoon will remain active in some parts of eastern Rajasthan for the next 4-5 days. Rain activities will increase in some parts of southern and eastern Rajasthan.
Rain alert in these districts today
There is a rain alert in 30 districts of the state. Heavy rain warning has been issued in 8 of these districts. Strong winds can also blow here. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain today in Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Dholpur, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Kota, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Sirohi, Tonk, Udaipur, Barmer, Churu, Jaisalmer, Jalore, Jodhpur, Nagaur and Pali districts including the capital Jaipur. However, there is no rain alert in Bikaner, Hanumangarh and Sri Ganganagar today.
There will be heavy rain in these districts for four days
The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain for four consecutive days in 30 districts of the state except Bikaner, Hanumangarh and Sri Ganganagar. These include Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Dholpur, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Kota, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Sirohi, Tonk, Udaipur, Barmer, Churu, Jaisalmer, Jalore, Jodhpur, Nagaur and Pali. Also, Bikaner, Hanumangarh and Sri Ganganagar will receive heavy rain for three consecutive days from Tuesday. Apart from this, the wind will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour across the state.
