Rajasthan : On the very first day of August, the monsoon became more active than expected. Heavy rains occurred in the districts of eastern Rajasthan including Jaipur. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued another new warning. This warning has been issued for the next 2 hours. According to the department, heavy rains with thunder will continue in Bhilwara, Ajmer and Pali, while there is a strong possibility of heavy rain at some places. The department has issued an orange alert for these districts.

On the other hand, light to moderate rain with thundershowers may occur in Jaipur, Tonk, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Churu, Sikar, Nagaur, Bikaner, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Bundi, Kota, Baran, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jodhpur and Jhalawar. The department has issued a yellow alert for these districts. Rainfall has already begun in Jodhpur city and surrounding areas. In Pali district, clouds remained camped in the sky from morning to evening on Thursday. Dark clouds raised hopes of rain several times during the day, but it did not rain. There was some relief from humidity due to wind and clouds. On the other hand, drizzle occurred at some places in the district. The maximum temperature of the district was recorded at 32.4 and the minimum at 26.6 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon line passed through Ganganagar. One cyclonic circulation is present in north-east Rajasthan and its surrounding areas. While the second is present in western Uttar Pradesh and the third is present in Punjab and its surrounding areas. Due to its effect, rain is likely in many areas of the state. Monsoon became active in eastern Rajasthan from Thursday. Monsoon is expected to become active in western Rajasthan from August 3. There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain with thundershowers in Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions from August 2 to 5.
Orange alert in Pali and Sirohi
The weather department of Jaipur has issued an orange alert for rain on August 4 in Pali and Sirohi districts. At that time, there may be very heavy rain with thunder and lightning. This alert will remain in Pali on August 5 as well. Whereas a yellow alert has been issued in Jalore.
