Heavy rain expected in Rajasthan, Meteorological Department has issued alert in these 6 districts

Sikar : Monsoon has weakened in Rajasthan for now. Many districts including Jaipur, Bharatpur, Sikar, Churu, Kota, Ajmer, Jodhpur witnessed bright sunshine on Wednesday. According to the Meteorological Department, the weakened monsoon may cause light rain in many districts of Rajasthan from September 1. At the same time, monsoon will become active again from September 2. Due to which there is a strong possibility of heavy rain in many districts.

52% more rain

Rajasthan has received 52% more rain than normal so far. The state has received an average rainfall of 361.3 mm from June 1 to August 28, while a total of 549.9 mm rain has been recorded this season so far.

‘New System’ formed in the Bay of Bengal

According to the department, a new system is forming in the Bay of Bengal. Which is moving towards the west and is likely to reach Rajasthan by September 2.

Yellow alert for thunder and lightning in 6 districts

The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for thunder and lightning in 6 districts of Rajasthan today. These include Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Bikaner, Churu, Hanumangarh and Sri Ganganagar.
