Rajasthan : The rain continues in Rajasthan. There is a possibility of heavy rain in the next 48 hours. An alert has also been issued by the Meteorological Department for this. The low pressure area formed over Jharkhand has intensified and turned into a deep depression on Saturday. This deep depression can move towards eastern Rajasthan via Madhya Pradesh in the next 48 hours. Due to its effect, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain in some parts of Kota, Udaipur division on Saturday. According to the Meteorological Department, in the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain with thunder has been recorded at many places in the state and heavy rain has been recorded at some places in Jaisalmer, Barmer, Jalore, Sirohi, Dungarpur and Ajmer.

At the same time, the highest rainfall in eastern Rajasthan was recorded in Arai, Ajmer at 102 mm and in Gudamalani of Barmer in western Rajasthan at 89 mm. While on August 5 to 6, moderate to heavy rain and sometimes heavy and sometimes very heavy rain is expected in some parts of Udaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions. Orange and yellow alert has been issued for many districts by the Meteorological Center Jaipur.
