Chittorgarh : Light to moderate rain occurred in many areas of the district including Chittorgarh city on Wednesday. Chittorgarh received 18 mm of rain in just half an hour. Humidity and heat in the city troubled people since Wednesday morning. The rain for about half an hour after four in the evening gave relief to people from humidity for some time, but the period of humidity started again at night. The city has not seen good rain so far this monsoon. The rain that occurred for half an hour in the city exposed the administration.
Here in the railway station area, the water from the drains clogged with garbage and dirt overflowed on the road, due to which people had to face trouble in movement. The road in front of the Meera Nagari police post and a little distance away from the excise office got flooded with water. From 8 am to 5 pm, 4 mm rain was recorded in Kapasan, 17 mm in Bhupal Sagar, 19 mm in Matrikundiya and 5 mm in Nibahera.
