Rajasthan : Monsoon has reached entire Rajasthan. Weather changed in Jaipur late evening today. Rain started with strong winds. Rain continues in many areas of Jaipur including Rajapark, Chandpole, Tonk Road, Murlipura. It also rained in Alwar in the evening. This gave relief to people from humidity and heat. In Sikar, after bright sunshine in the afternoon, the weather took a turn in the evening. Rain started with a storm. It also rained in Dausa in the evening. At the same time, lightning struck a girl talking on a mobile phone under a tin shed in Behror. She has been referred to the district hospital in Alwar in critical condition. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for all the remaining districts except Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Barmer and Jalore on 4 and 5 July. On July 6, there is a yellow alert for all the remaining districts except Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Pali and Jalore.

Heavy rains caused waterlogging in front of Bhawani Niketan College on Sikar Road in Jaipur. Vehicles were submerged in water.

A girl got burnt due to lightning in Behror
During the rain in Gunti village of Behror, Sapna (18), daughter of Rajendra alias Raju Meghwal, was struck by lightning. Her ears started bleeding and her face was burnt. The family members rushed her to the district hospital of Behror. From here, she was referred to the district hospital of Alwar in critical condition.
Family members said that Sapna was talking on mobile under a tin shed when lightning struck her. The girl’s face got burnt due to lightning in Behror. She has been referred to Alwar District Hospital.
