Heavy rain is expected in Rajasthan again today, alert issued, you too should be cautious

Rajasthan : Monsoon is in full swing in Rajasthan. Last Wednesday, heavy rains fell in the entire state. Today, on Thursday, drizzling rains are continuing in many parts of the state since morning. There is waterlogging everywhere. The common people are facing a lot of problems. According to the update of the Meteorological Center Jaipur, today on the first day of the month of August, an orange alert has been issued for torrential rain with thunder in Jaipur, Jaipur city, Dausa, Sawai Madhopur, Tonk, Bundi, Baran, Kota etc. districts. Along with this, the Meteorological Department has also issued an alert for lightning.

On the other hand, a yellow alert has been issued for heavy to very heavy rain in districts like Dholpur, Alwar, Bharatpur, Sawai Madhopur, Karauli, Bhilwara, Nagaur, Sikar, Jhalawar, Chittorgarh, Ajmer, Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Bikaner, Rajsamand, Sirohi, Udaipur, Banswara, Pratapgarh and Dungarpur. During this time, there is a possibility of thunderstorm as well as lightning. Today, on August 1, at 5:30 am, 133 mm of rain was recorded at Jaipur Airport. Intermittent moderate to heavy rain is likely to continue for the next two hours. Monsoon has once again taken a turn in the state and the Meteorological Center has issued an alert of heavy rain in three divisions of the state. Director of Meteorological Center Radheshyam Sharma said that the monsoon turf line is passing through the northern part of Rajasthan. Due to the effect of this system, monsoon will be more active in north-eastern and north-western Rajasthan.

There is a high possibility of moderate to heavy rain with strong thunder and lightning in the afternoon in Bharatpur, Jaipur division districts and Shekhawati region and Bikaner division districts. Heavy to very heavy rain is likely in some parts of Bharatpur, Alwar, Dausa, Jaipur in the next 48 hours. The Meteorological Department has issued a heavy rain alert for all these districts. Yellow alert has been issued for Shekhawati region, yellow alert remains for the next 48 hours for most of the districts of Bikaner division.

A new system will develop between 2nd and 5th August, due to which rain activities will increase in most parts of eastern Rajasthan. There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain in most parts between 2nd and 5th August, and there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places. Do not take shelter of tin sheds or trees when the weather is bad, there is a high possibility of lightning. The Meteorological Center appealed to the general public that waterlogging may occur in low-lying areas, do not go near rivers and drains, there may be loss of life and property due to high inflow of water. There is a possibility of rain drains overflowing, so stay at a safe place.
