Heavy rain quota completed in Rajasthan, alert for these districts, know the condition of your city

Rajasthan : The period of heavy rains in Rajasthan is not going to stop yet. This time the monsoon has been tremendous. Out of 50 districts of the state, 28 districts have recorded 60 percent or more rainfall which is in the category of above normal. The 28 districts which have recorded 60 percent more rainfall than normal include Ajmer, Alwar, Anupgarh, Beawar, Bikaner, Dausa, Deeg, Dholpur, Didwana-Kuchaman, Dudu, Ganganagar, Gangapur City, Jaipur, Jaipur Rural, Karauli, Kekri, Khairthal-Tijara, Nagaur, Sawai Madhopur, Tonk, Kotputli-Baharod, Balotra, Barmer, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur Rural, Phalodi, Bundi and Churu. If we talk about the figures so far, the average rainfall in the state from June 1 to September 9 is 402.5MM, while so far 635.7MM rain has occurred this season.

Monday’s weather forecast

For Monday, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for Bundi, Kota, Baran and Jhalawar and its surrounding areas. According to this, a warning of moderate to heavy rain with thunder has been issued in the areas of these districts. Apart from this, a heavy rain alert has been issued in the state after 3 days. Here, heavy rain occurred in Bharatpur city on Sunday. 9 inches of rain was recorded here till late evening.

Current situation of last 24 hours

According to the Meteorological Center Jaipur (IMD, Jaipur), moderate to heavy rain was recorded at many places in Rajasthan during the last 24 hours. Apart from this, heavy rain was recorded in Alwar, Baran, Bharatpur, Bundi, Jhalawar, Karauli, Sirohi and Tonk on Sunday. Kathumar in Alwar recorded the highest rainfall of 11 cm, while Deoli (Tonk) and Behror received 9-9 cm, Roopbas (Bharatpur) and Mandawar (Alwar) received 8-8 cm, Kaman (Bharatpur), Mount Abu (Sirohi), Patan (Bundi), Malakheda (Alwar) and Baran received 7-7 cm of rain, while many other places received less than 7 cm of rain during this period.

Heavy rain likely from 10 to 13 September

Along with this, Director of Meteorological Center Jaipur, Radheshyam Sharma said that on Monday, most parts of Bharatpur, Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota, Udaipur divisions are likely to receive moderate to heavy rain with thundershowers and heavy rain at some places. According to the Meteorological Center, moderate rain is likely to continue in some parts of eastern Rajasthan on 10-11 September and heavy rain may be recorded at some places in Kota, Udaipur division. According to the latest update, due to the effect of low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal, heavy rain activities are likely to increase again in some parts of eastern Rajasthan on 12-13 September.
