Rajasthan : Monsoon havoc continues in Rajasthan. Life has been disrupted due to intermittent heavy rains in most districts. Monsoon activities are likely to increase further in the coming week. Meanwhile, Jaipur Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain for some districts. According to the information of the Meteorological Department, a warning of heavy rain with strong thunder has been issued in districts like Dausa, Karauli, Sirohi, Jaipur, Bikaner, Churu, Hanumangarh, Sriganganagar etc. Apart from these, an alert for heavy rain has also been issued in districts like Alwar, Udaipur and Barmer.
Only 4 days are left for the month of August to pass but the pace of monsoon in the desert is not slowing down. Monsoon has been showering its blessings on different districts for about a month. More than half of Rajasthan has become a flood. At some places, heavy rain has even taken a deadly form. The thunder of clouds and lightning have become a cause of trouble for the villagers as well as the city dwellers.
Monsoon will wreak havoc in these places
The deep depression system formed over South Rajasthan has gradually moved towards the west and has reached the northern parts of Gujarat. There is a strong possibility of it gradually moving towards Saurashtra, Kutch region in the next 24 hours. Due to the effect of this system, intermittent moderate rain is expected in some parts of Udaipur, Jodhpur division with strong winds of 30 to 40 Kmph during the next 24 hours and heavy rain is expected at some places.
Meteorological Department issued special guidelines
Along with issuing orange-yellow alert for rain and thunderstorm, the Meteorological Department has issued special guidelines for the general public. According to the Meteorological Department, take shelter in a safe place during thunderstorm. Do not go under trees at all. Remove the plug of electronic devices at home and keep them aside. Do not go near electric poles and kutcha houses.
Roads turned into ponds
At the same time, rain continued for more than four hours in Gajsinghpur of Sri Ganganagar. It rained intermittently in Gajsinghpur. The roads and lanes of the town were flooded due to the rain accompanied by heavy thunder. Due to the rain, the lower wards were flooded.
Man drowned in crab
At the same time, in Kekri district, a young man along with his motorcycle was swept away in the strong current of water in the river. The incident took place in Dai river on the Hingonia to Sapunda road. The villagers risked their lives to rescue the young man who was floating in the river. Khushiram Dhakad, a resident of Bilawatiyakheda, was taken out of the river by the villagers and taken to the hospital.
