Heavy rain warning in Rajasthan including Jaipur, IMD issues yellow alert

According to the latest situation, this phase of rain will continue for another 48 hours. According to the Meteorological Center (IMD), Wellmark Low Pressure has intensified again today and has become a depression. Currently it is over north-eastern Madhya Pradesh. In the next 24 hours, there is a strong possibility of it moving in the northwest direction towards western UP.

The Meteorological Department has predicted rain in some areas of Rajasthan. According to IMD, there is a possibility of rain in Bharatpur, Jaipur, Kota and Ajmer divisions on September 13. According to the immediate warning of Jaipur Meteorological Center (IMD, Jaipur), a yellow alert has been issued in Dholpur, Baran, Pali, Ajmer, Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur districts. According to this, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder in some districts.

Also, light moderate rain is expected at sporadic places during September 14 to 17. Apart from this, in the coming days, the weather is likely to remain mainly dry in most parts of western Rajasthan and light moderate rain is expected only at sporadic places.
