Rajasthan : After a break of five days, monsoon is going to be active once again in Rajasthan. The spell of rain that went on in the last few days has broken the record of the last several years. Now on the same lines, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain once again. According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Department, today on Wednesday 18 September, the weather will be clear in the entire state, but the spell of rain may start from tomorrow. Heavy rain alert has been issued in all the eastern districts of the state on Thursday 19 September and Friday 20 September. Along with all the districts of eastern Rajasthan, there is a possibility of heavy rain in two districts of western Rajasthan as well. The Meteorological Department has once again advised people to be cautious about the possibility of heavy rain.
Heavy to very heavy rain warning in these districts of Rajasthan
In the latest bulletin issued by the Meteorological Center Jaipur, a warning of very heavy rain has been issued in Bharatpur, Dholpur and Karauli districts. Along with this, an alert of heavy rain has been issued in Alwar, Dausa, Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur, Tonk, Bundi, Baran, Kota and Jhalawar. For tomorrow, Thursday, an alert of heavy rain has been issued in 22 out of 23 districts of eastern Rajasthan. That is, except Sirohi, there is a possibility of rain in all the remaining 22 districts, Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Bundi, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Dholpur, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Kota, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Tonk and Udaipur.
Weather will remain dry in western Rajasthan
According to the weather department forecast, there may be heavy rain in all the districts of eastern Rajasthan tomorrow, Thursday and the day after tomorrow, Friday. On the other hand, a yellow alert for rain has been issued in two districts of western Rajasthan, Churu and Nagaur, while the weather is likely to remain dry in all the remaining 8 districts. There is a possibility of rain in Kota and Udaipur on Saturday, 21 September, Kota, Bharatpur, Ajmer and Udaipur on 22 September and in Kota, Bharatpur, Ajmer along with some districts of Udaipur division on 23 September.
