A similar scene is being seen in different districts of Rajasthan. Continuous rains in many districts of Rajasthan have created a flood situation due to waterlogging in low-lying areas. According to the Meteorological Department, heavy to very heavy rains may occur at many places in the state in the next 24 hours. Four people, including two innocent children, died in separate rain-related accidents in Dholpur and Barmer districts, while eight others were injured.

Two innocent children died due to house collapse

Police said that two innocent children were among the 10 people who were buried under the debris of a dilapidated house that collapsed due to heavy rains in the Sapu police station area of ​​Dholpur district last night. Sapu police station in-charge Gambhir Singh said that a concrete house collapsed due to heavy rains in Gogli village. He said that ten members of a family were buried under the debris of the house. All the injured were taken out of the debris and taken to the district hospital where RK (3) and Vinay (4) died during treatment.

Two brothers drowned in Luni river

Two brothers who had gone to take a bath in the Luni river in the Bakhasar police station area of ​​Barmer district died by drowning. The rivers are overflowing

Due to continuous rain in Dholpur and surrounding areas, water is being drained by opening ten gates of Parvati Dam. Along with this, Urmila Sagar Dam located on Dholpur Bari road has also overflowed and National Highway 11B connecting Dholpur to Karauli has been closed for traffic. Due to continuous rain in Ajmer, water of many dams has overflowed and entered residential areas.

There is a high chance of rain for the next 24 hours

According to the Meteorological Center, Jaipur, the ‘depression’ formed over Madhya Pradesh has reached over south-western Uttar Pradesh on Thursday. It is likely to move northwards and weaken and become a ‘well mark low pressure’ in the next 24 hours. Due to the effect of this system, there is a possibility of heavy, very heavy rain with thundershowers in some parts of Bharatpur, Jaipur and Kota divisions and light moderate rain in some parts of Ajmer, Udaipur divisions in the next 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Center, there is a possibility of a decrease in heavy rain activities in the state from September 13 and rain activities with thundershowers will continue in north-eastern Rajasthan. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain at sporadic places during September 14 to 17. According to the Meteorological Center, the weather is likely to remain mainly dry in most parts of western Rajasthan in the coming days and light to moderate rain is likely only at sporadic places.
