Heavy rain wreaks havoc in Rajasthan, holiday declared in these districts, know the latest update

Jaipur : Heavy rains will continue in Rajasthan for two more days. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for this. According to the Meteorological Center, Wellmark Low Pressure has intensified again today and has become a depression. Currently, it is over north-eastern Madhya Pradesh. There is a strong possibility of it moving in the north-west direction towards western UP in the next 24 hours. Monsoon is likely to remain active in most parts of eastern Rajasthan for the next 3-4 days and moderate to heavy rains are likely. Heavy, very heavy rains are likely to continue in some places in Kota, Jaipur, Bharatpur and Ajmer divisions on 12-13 September. Here, on Wednesday also, it rained in many districts of eastern Rajasthan. The highest rainfall occurred in Dholpur. Five inches of rain has been recorded in Rajakheda of Dholpur. After heavy rains, water entered people’s houses. The situation was such that people were imprisoned in their homes. 71 mm of rain was recorded in Dholpur city and 75 mm in Aklera of Jhalawar.

Holiday declared in these 2 districts

In view of the heavy rains, the District Collector has declared a holiday for classes from class one to class twelve in Dholpur till further orders. Similarly, the Ajmer (Ajmer School Holiday) Collector has also declared a holiday for schools on Thursday.

3.2 inches of rain in Chhipabarod, cloudy weather prevailed in Kota

There was good rainfall in Baran district of Hadauti region. The spell of rain continued in the entire district including Baran city. The continuous rain is causing damage to the crops along with the life of the people. The maximum rainfall has been recorded in Chhipabaraud. 86 mm of rain was recorded in Chhipabaraud and 50 mm in Atru.
