Heavy rains in these districts of Rajasthan, dams overflow, roads flooded

Rajasthan : The weather in Rajasthan has changed completely since Thursday. Monsoon has entered the entire Rajasthan including the capital Jaipur. Rain activities are not stopping from Thursday morning to early Friday morning. Torrential rains are continuing at many places across the state including Tonk, Baran, Bhilwara. Monsoon was kind to Bisalpur Dam of Rajmahal in Tonk district. 57 mm of rain was recorded in 24 hours. At the same time, there was also an increase of 3 cm water in the district. Not only this, the gauge of the dams was recorded at 309.69 RL meter till 6 am on Friday. In such a situation, heavy rains are continuing in the dam and surrounding areas from late Thursday night to Friday morning.

The roads are flooded here

In Bundi, Rajasthan, roads were seen submerged everywhere. People had trouble commuting as the roads were flooded with water. The entire road looked deserted. Only a few people came out of their houses.

Heavy rain alert for three days

According to the Director of Meteorological Centre, Radheshyam Sharma, a circulation system is formed over north-eastern Rajasthan and the monsoon trough line is passing through Bikaner-Churu. Due to its effect, there is a strong possibility of monsoon being active in eastern Rajasthan for the next three days. During this time, heavy rain is likely at many places in Jaipur, Bharatpur, Ajmer, Udaipur, Kota divisions. At the same time, rain with thunder is likely to be recorded in some parts of Bikaner division of western Rajasthan during the next 48 hours. Light to moderate rain is also likely at some places in the eastern parts of Jodhpur division and the weather is likely to remain mainly dry in the border areas.
