Bharatpur : At a cremation ground in Roopwas police station area, four tantriks were doing tantric sadhna with a burning pyre. When a person saw this scene, the ground slipped under his feet. When he reached near the pyre, four tantriks were doing tantric sadhna. When he objected, the tantriks attacked him with a knife, when he shouted, people working in the fields nearby came running. When the tantriks started running away from there, the villagers caught one tantrik and handed him over to the police.

Four tantriks started performing tantric rituals on the burning pyre

Sundar died in Ramnagar village of Roopwas police station area. Sundar’s brother Laxman said that the last rites of the body were performed at the cremation ground of Paharpur village. After the last rites, the villagers returned to their homes. Kailash, brother-in-law of the deceased, was sitting under a tree near the cremation ground, when he saw that four people were doing something with the burning pyre. Seeing this, he went near the pyre and was shocked to see the scene there.

When interrupted, the tantriks attacked with a knife

Near the pyre, four tantriks were performing tantric rituals by sacrificing a chicken, cutting lemons and lighting incense sticks. When she stopped the tantriks, they tried to attack her with a knife. Kailash raised an alarm. People working in the fields around the cremation ground heard the noise and came running. They chased the attacking tantriks. They caught one tantrik while he was running away. The villagers have handed over the tantrik to the police.

Police arrested a Tantrik

Head Constable Bachchu Singh said that the villagers caught a tantrik who was practicing tantric rituals near the pyre at the cremation ground and handed him over to the police. The villagers have given a written complaint against Bhikko and Arun, residents of Khanua village, along with two other tantriks. The police is investigating the matter.
