Banswara : Every day new efforts are being made to wish for rain. On one hand, there are tricks and on the other hand faith is also being seen. A similar event was seen near Chandrapol Gate in the city. Here the Shiv Linga was submerged in the temple. Social worker Rajesh Joshi said that it is believed that whenever there is no rain and the Shiv Linga is submerged in the Matkeshwar Mahadev temple, the chances of good rain increase.
Here, in the absence of rain, social worker Ashok Madhosh organized the marriage of a frog and a female frog at Degli Mata Chowk. Madhosh said that before the marriage, an auspicious time was found out. After this, the marriage was organized. This program was done in the same way as a normal marriage. A procession also came in the wedding and musical instruments were also played. He said that he has been organizing this event for the past 2 decades. He organizes this event in the year when there is no rain. Most of the times, his event has been successful.
On Monday evening, women from all communities reached Mukteshwar Mahadev temple located on the banks of Lalora pond in large numbers in Ganoda Gram Panchayat. A ritual of submerging Mahadev was to be performed to pray for rain. But, the hand pump here was not working. On this, the women took the risk of drawing water from the well of the water supply department located nearby and submerged Mahadev. Women from all communities expressed their anger and said that the Panchayat is careless. There has been no development in Ganoda for the last 5 years. The women said that the Panchayat is not doing any good work in the village, but it can get the hand pump repaired at the temple of God. During this time, Mangali Tailor, Kamala Devi, Harsha Joshi, Narmada Patidar, Vidya Tailor, Gami Devi, Durga Yadav, Sawal Gayri, Ratan Gayri, Nanda Devi, Shanti Suthar, Kali Yadav and other women were present.
