Assistant Police Commissioner (Ashok Nagar) Balaram said that the body of 34-year-old contract worker Manish Saini was found hanging in the lawyer’s office. He was a resident of Bandikui. Saini’s body has been sent for post-mortem.

The relatives of the deceased protested

After the incident, the family members of the deceased staged a protest outside the office demanding a government job and compensation for a family member. Meanwhile, former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the state government should ensure financial assistance to the families of the victims.

Along with this, the former CM said, ‘Manish was a low paid contract worker. The state government should ensure financial assistance to the families of the victims. Gehlot said, ‘During our government, contractual service rules were made to safeguard the future of about 1 lakh 10 thousand contract workers and the process of screening was started.’

Contract workers should be given proper salary – former CM

Ashok Gehlot said that the present government should immediately take the said process forward and regularize all the contract workers and give them proper pay scale. At the same time, no statement has come from BJP yet on this entire matter.
