Udaipur : On Friday evening a trailer ran on the highway like a messenger of death at Zinc square in Debari. The trailer going towards Dabok hit more than a dozen vehicles. One person died in the accident, many people were injured. Three seriously injured were taken to the hospital. Traffic was diverted due to construction work on the highway. The uncontrolled trailer went ahead on the slope on the service lane hitting vehicles. 4 cars, 7 two wheelers, one auto, and one bus came under the impact of the trailer. There was chaos after the accident.
Traffic jam after the accident
After the accident, a crowd of people gathered around and the traffic got jammed. With the help of passersby and us shopkeepers, the injured were immediately taken to the hospital. The injured trapped in the car were taken out with the help of local people and admitted to the hospital.
Elderly man died during treatment
In the accident, Khemli resident Chaukharam Dangi (69), Bhallon ka Guda resident Roshanlal Gayri (40) and Bhainsda Kala resident Kiran Meghwal (40) were seriously injured. All three were taken to MB Hospital in an ambulance of the Highway Authority, where Chaukharam died during treatment.
