Hisar, 26 November (IANS). Hisar Special Task Force (STF) on Tuesday arrested Lawrence Bishnoi’s associate Sampat Nehra. After this, he was produced in Hansi court, from where he was sent on one-day remand.
The Special Task Force (STF) had taken Lawrence’s associate Sampat Nehra from Bathinda jail on a production warrant. During the hearing, the court asked the police to present Sampat Nehra again in the court before 4 pm on 27th November (Wednesday).
According to the report, Sampat Nehra had called Sonu, a resident of Sisai village of Hansi, on July 31 and again on August 1, 2023, demanding extortion money. He had also threatened to kill him if he did not pay the money. A case was registered against Sampat in this matter. There is a case registered against Sampat Nehra and he is currently serving his sentence in Bathinda jail.
According to media reports, Sonu had told in the complaint given to the police that on July 31, 2023, at around 3 pm, a call had been received from the name Sampat Nehra. When I received the call, the caller Nehra demanded money. Also said that time was given till August 1 to pay the money. It was also said that if the money is not given, you will be killed. Sonu had told that he had talked to him on video call. Sonu had also given screenshots of the video call to the police.
