Bharatpur : Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedham on Sunday participated in the annual convention and old age honor ceremony organized by the Pensioners Society at Narendra Higher Secondary School, Sikri.
On this occasion, the Minister talked about extending the benefits of social security pension schemes to every eligible person and instructed the officials to take action with sensitivity in the pensioners verification work. He said that 90 lakh 56 thousand 199 pensioners in the state are benefiting from various pension schemes of the state government, which include Chief Minister Vridhjan Samman Pension Scheme, Chief Minister Ekalnari Samman Pension Scheme, Chief Minister Special Yogjan Samman Pension Scheme and Small and Marginal Farmers Old Age Pension Scheme. Are included.
The Minister said that under the Chief Minister Vridhjan Samman Pension Scheme, Rs 1150 will be given to the beneficiaries of Ekalnari Samman Pension Scheme, Rs 1150 to the beneficiaries aged between 18 to 75 years and Rs 1500 to the beneficiaries above 75 years of age, under the Special Yogyan Pension Scheme, Rs 1500 will be given to the beneficiaries above 75 years of age. Rs 1150 is being provided to under age beneficiaries, Rs 1250 to beneficiaries aged 75 years and above, Rs 2500 to beneficiaries suffering from leprosy and Rs 1500 to beneficiaries suffering from silicosis disease. Apart from this, beneficiaries in the Marginal Farmers Old Age Pension Scheme are getting Rs 1150 per month.
The Minister of State for Home also said that the Bhajan Lal government is fully committed to the upliftment of pensioners, and similar welfare schemes for senior citizens, specially abled persons and other needy sections will be implemented in future also.
