Honorarium of about 2 thousand contract workers of Rajasthan has not increased for 12 years, anger

Jaipur : about two thousand contract workers of the state are being financially exploited for the last 12 years. These employees are appointed on various posts in KGBV (Kasturba Gandhi Girls Residential School). Whose honorarium has not increased in the last 12 years. Not only this, in many districts the placement agency is also cutting that honorarium. Therefore, anger is increasing among these employees who are facing financial problems with honorarium less than the minimum wage.

The contract workers appointed in KGBV are getting less honorarium than the minimum wage of the state. The minimum wage in the state for unskilled workers to highly skilled laborers is fixed at Rs 7,410 to Rs 9,334. Whereas in KGBV, the clerk appointed on contract is being given an honorarium of Rs. 6500, the assistant employee is being given Rs. 4500, the watchman and the head cook are being given Rs. 5000 each and the assistant cook is being given Rs. 4600. Till now, the salary of the contractual workers appointed in Kasturba Gandhi Vidyalayas has been increased only once.
On the other hand, the process of payment of bonus to state employees will start from Thursday, while this time the salary will be received on October 30. Pension payment to retired officers and employees will also be made on October 30. The state government has already issued orders to give bonus to the employees on October 13. This order will also be applicable to Rajasthan government offices located in Delhi.
